An event celebrating real-life superheroes in County Durham is coming to Sedgefield Racecourse this month.
The family fun day will be held on Saturday, 31st October from 10am to 3pm with free parking, attractions and activities.
Visitors will be able to meet emergency services, including the police, fire and rescue service, coastguard, mountain rescue and even the stars of the current series of Police Interceptors on Channel 5.
The event is being organised by Ron Hogg, Police and Crime Commissioner for Durham.
“The whole idea is to celebrate all of the hard work done by emergency services – police, fire, ambulance – other partners such as Durham Blood Bikes and smaller groups who do vital jobs,” says Ron Hogg.
