A guitar signed by world renowned musicians has gone up for auction to raise funds for Bishop FM.
The players to sign the guitar include Elliott Randall, the American musician who recorded the iconic guitar solo on Steely Dan’s Reelin’ in the Years.
Other musicians to sign the guitar include Paul Brett, John Verity (Argent), Jerry Donahue (Fairport Convention), Graham Oliver (Saxon) and Dave Bucket Colwell (Bad Company).
The guitar was kindly donated by JHS/Vintage to Bishop FM to raise funds for the station, which is home to several music programmes including The Blues Show with Gary Grainger and The Folk Show with Rebekah Findlay.
The ebay auction will close on 30th October.
The non-profit Bishop Auckland based radio station is operated entirely by volunteers. All proceeds go towards running the station and its programmes.
