Last minute funding has saved an arts festival in Bishop Auckland.
The event was re-branded febfest last year. It is an annual arts programme which runs for a three week period for all ages.
The event is launched on Monday, 10th February at Bishop Auckland Town Hall.
The gallery is hosting an exhibition with artwork from schools which has a Japanese arts and culture theme.
“I hope that the programme this year has something that’ll entice all ages to get involved. There’s theatre, music, film and workshops that offer the opportunity for all to come together to have fun and share in the vast creativity of the event,” said Jane Crawford, festival director from Daisy Arts.
Last year more than 700 people attended the festival, with 12 schools and 8 community groups taking part in the exhibition.
More information about febfest is available in a brochure at Bishop Auckland Town Hall.
