A North East family run business has opened its fifteenth care home. Eden House on Cockton Hill Road is named after the former Lady Eden Hospital on the same site.
“I have a great team of staff joining me at Eden House and we already have lots of activities and events planned,” said care home manager Kelly Watt.
Nigel Dawson, Financial Director of Helen McArdle Care said: “It is great to join the community in Bishop Auckland. The planning and design of this home has taken considerable time and it will combine the best of the former Lady Eden Hospital and a brand new purpose built care home.”
The care home has created 45 new jobs.
