The Fitzwilliam String Quartet – one of the longest established string quartets in the world – is set to delight local classical music fans with performances of works by Britten, Purcell, Mozart and Beethoven for the finale of Bishop Auckland Music Society’s ‘Classics in the Castle’ series.
The throne room at Auckland Castle will provide the perfect setting for concert, which will take place on on Friday 6th September at 7.30pm. Admission on the door costs £12.50 for adults, under-18s enter for free.
