Local supermarket Tesco has recently presented local radio station 105.9 Bishop FM with a cheque for £358.60 to cover the cost of the station’s promotional material for a whole year.
Erika Lucas, Tesco’s Community Champion from the Bishop Auckland store handed over the cheque to Lee Brownson, our Station Manager and Breakfast Show presenter.
Lee said, “It’s great to work in partnership with the local Tesco Supermarket and the cheque will be a big help for us. The money will be used to buy t-shirts, mugs, key-rings and other promotional items, which will be used at our outside community events – including the up-coming Food Festival at Auckland Castle on Saturday 16th April.
