In order to raise much much needed funds for your local community radio station. Our very own Drivetime presenter Alan Knowles will swap his talking boots for walking boots.
On Saturday 28th September he will set off from Heighington and hike to Durham Cathedral, a distance of over 20 miles!
Alan will also be passing through Newton Aycliffe, Shildon and Bishop FM studios on the way.
Part of this walk will follow the way of light which is the route that pilgrims took when taking St. Cuthbert’s remains to Durham Cathedral.
