The winner of the latest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK will headline Pride Bishop Auckland 2024 this weekend.
Ginger Johnson, who is from County Durham, will bring her blend of glamour, wit, and sheer star power to the Friday Night Launch Party, alongside Delta Quadrant, Carrot, Hyper Dermic and Nana Funk.
General admission will be free for the community stage with music and entertainment, including performances by Bishop Auckland College students and local acts.
Comedian Stephen Bailey will headline the event on Saturday. The event will also include tribute acts, live music, burlesque, theatre and cabaret and live DJs. Food stalls, face painting and local organisations like The Angel Trust will also form part of the event at Bishop Auckland College.
