A local university is inviting students to see the courses, facilities and experiences that are on offer.
The University of Sunderland will hold an open day on Saturday, 20th October where potential students will be able to find out more about university life. Advice, information and tours will be available from staff, academics and current students.
A number of subject talks are also planned for the day, as well as taster sessions from the most popular courses, giving an insight into what students can expect from their course.
Attendees on the day will also get to find out more about the city of Sunderland, student finance, the Students’ Union and topics such as the UCAS application process.
The University will also open the doors to its leisure facilities and student accommodation.
The open day takes places between 10am and 4pm in the Prospect Building, Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter’s, St Peter’s Way, Sunderland. More information on subject-specific open days, individual visits and other enquiries is available on the Student Recruitment Helpline on 0191 515 3000.
